Rump steaks are a lean cut with little fat that sits between the sirloin and topside.
Heat your pan with a drizzle of oil with high heat. Rub the rump steak with oil and season both sides with kosher/ sea salt. Add the steak on the pan when it's hot and cook for 2-3 minutes each side for medium-rare. If you are looking for well done, add another minute to each side.
